About Rooted Homely

Hi, I'm Yasir, and welcome to Rooted Homely.

This blog started with a simple idea: a home feels better when there's something green growing in it. I'm not a professional gardener or interior designer. I'm someone who enjoys caring for plants, making small spaces feel cozy, and figuring things out through trial and error. Rooted Homely is where I share what I learn along the way.

What you'll find here

• Indoor plants: easy care guides, beginner-friendly plants, and fixes for common problems like yellow leaves and overwatering
• Container and balcony gardening: how to grow plants in pots when you don't have a yard
• Home and small spaces: simple decor ideas, organization tips, and ways to make any room feel warmer
• Easy DIY projects: practical things you can make or fix yourself without special skills or expensive tools

My approach

I try to keep everything simple, honest, and practical. Wherever possible, I share my own experiences and photos, including the mistakes. If something didn't work for me, I'll tell you that too.

Whether you're trying to keep your first plant alive or just want your home to feel a little more like home, I'm glad you're here.
